Custom Dry Box Body for Iveco Daily 35C–40C

Hoobrid designed and built a custom dry box body for an Iveco Daily 35C–40C chassis with a 4100mm wheelbase — engineered for general cargo transport with a focus on usable volume, interior practicality, and long-haul efficiency.


The body delivers 24.25 m³ of internal volume. Walls and ceiling use sandwich panel construction — rigid polyurethane core with fibreglass laminate exterior and interior in RAL 9016 white — for a lightweight yet rigid structure. The floor is 15mm birch plywood with moisture-resistant phenolic film coating.


The rear opening features two-part doors that swing to 270°, fitted with T-bar locks and external handles. Load lock cargo securing rails run along both interior sidewalls at 800mm height. Two IP65-rated LED motion-sensor lights (12W, 1650 lm each) illuminate the full cargo area without blind spots.


Additional equipment includes a retractable rear access ladder, rear body bumpers, and driver footstep protection. Cab roof and side spoilers in a metallic finish improve aerodynamics at highway speed and reduce fuel consumption.


Body weight: 458 kg. Total equipment weight: 540 kg. 60-month warranty as standard.

Manufactured and installed at Hoobrid's production facility in Eigirgala, Lithuania.
