We built and mounted an FNA-class refrigerated box body on a Toyota Proace Max 3.5 t chassis cab — a compact chilled-delivery vehicle with a Daikin Z380 refrigeration unit, a BAR 750 kg tail lift and a side door.

The self-supporting body uses GRP sandwich panels with a rigid polystyrene foam core (λ = 0.025 W/(m·K)) and reinforced Performance Plus WR polyester-glass laminate inside and out, finished in RAL 9016. Internal dimensions are 4,200 × 2,100 × 2,100 mm, giving 18.52 m³ of load space, and the floor has a hard-wearing epoxy and polyurethane coating.

Key specifications

  • FNA class (ATP) refrigerated body for chilled goods

  • Panel thickness: floor 98 mm, side walls and rear doors 53 mm, front wall and roof 63 mm

  • Internal 4,200 × 2,100 × 2,100 mm (18.52 m³); external 4,316 × 2,206 × 2,261 mm

  • Two-part rear doors opening to 270°, stainless-steel rear portal, retractable door holders

  • Right-side door with a 900 × 2,000 mm opening and a fixed PVC strip curtain

  • Epoxy and polyurethane floor coating, 260 mm aluminium kickplates, Load Lock rails on both walls

  • Two LED cargo lights with motion sensors (IP65)

  • BAR Cargolift BC 750S2S(L) tail lift: 750 kg capacity, aluminium platform, 1,610 mm platform height

  • White cab roof spoiler with a cutout for the refrigeration unit, plus cab side spoilers

  • Side underrun protection, mudguards, side marker lights and an LED brake light in the rear portal

Refrigeration

Cooling comes from a Daikin Z380 (R452A) with hot-gas defrost and 230 V electric standby, so the load can be pre-cooled or kept cold at the depot with the engine off. Rated road cooling is 3,800 W at 0 °C and 2,020 W at −20 °C, and the unit can also heat the cargo area in winter.

The body comes with a 60-month warranty.

Manufactured and installed at Hoobrid's production facility in Eigirgala, Lithuania.
